A one-year-old child died as a result of a fire in a private house in the village of Nelidovo, Moscow region. This was reported on February 26 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Moscow region.
"Fire and rescue units were promptly dispatched to the site. Upon the arrival of the first units, Gorenje observed a private residential building burning on an area of 168 square meters," the department's Telegram channel says.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations added that a large family lived in the house. At the time of the incident, the three children were at home alone. Two boys aged five and 11 were able to get out of the house on their own before the fire service arrived at the scene. The body of a one-year-old child was found at the scene of the tragedy.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire could be a childish prank. The final causes of the fire are being determined.
On February 26, the press center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Khabarovsk Territory reported a fire in a private house. As a result of the fire, four people died: two men and two women aged from 29 to 54 years. 13 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the regional fire service and four pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
