Footage of a child falling from the 10th floor in St. Petersburg has emerged

A two-year-old boy who fell out of a 10th-floor window on Bogatyrsky Lane in St. Petersburg was caught by passers-by. Footage of the incident is published by Izvestia on February 26.

About ten people gathered under the window of the apartment from which the child was hanging out. Four of them stretched their jackets between them to cushion the impact of the fall. The boy was caught, and he cried loudly after falling.

An ambulance team arrived soon after and hospitalized him in serious condition, along with his mother, at the children's city Hospital No. 2. The child was diagnosed with a catatrauma and a concussion.

On the same day, the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Primorsky district of St. Petersburg informed Izvestia about a boy who had fallen out of a window and was rescued by passers-by. According to the child's mother, she briefly left the room where her young son was. When she returned and did not find him, she noticed an open window and people under the house, and then ran outside.
