Pashinyan spoke about the changing relations between Russia and Armenia
Yerevan is forming new relations with Moscow. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this on February 26 during a speech in Poland.
"Our relations with Russia are in a phase of transformation, we are forming new relations with the Russian Federation," the Aurora News agency quoted Pashinyan as saying.
At the same time, he pointed to the crucial role of Russian President Vladimir Putin in establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the Karabakh conflict.
On the same day, Pashinyan stated that Armenia does not intend to withdraw the 102nd Russian military base stationed on the territory of the republic.
On February 10, Pashinyan reported that harming Russia's interests was not and will not be on Armenia's agenda. He noted that Yerevan does not intend to create problems in contacts with Moscow, as it highly appreciates the established allied dialogue.
On February 5, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that the Russian side is interested in developing relations with Armenia.
