The Bestune car brand announced the closure of a third of the brand's dealers in a year

By the end of 2025, almost a third of the Bestune brand dealerships were closed in Russia. If at the beginning of last year the brand had 92 dealers, by the end the number of partners had decreased to 65. This is stated in a message from FAW Passenger Cars, which was received by Izvestia on January 23.

The company noted that this week the media spread information about a significant reduction in the brand's official dealerships last year. Representatives of the brand said that this information is not true. In total, 34 brand dealerships were closed during the year, and seven more new ones were opened, the company said.

"That is, 34 dealerships were closed in 2025, not 54, as indicated in the Internet reports," Bestune emphasized.

Chinese cars are being replaced by Russian models

On January 21, Kommersant, citing calculations by Gazprombank Avtolizing and Avtobusinessrevue, reported that by the end of 2025, 643 showrooms of Chinese brands engaged in the sale of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles were closed in Russia. This figure is 1.4 times higher than in 2024. According to him, the top three brands in terms of the number of closed salons were BAIC (56 units), Bestune (54 units) and JAC (44 units) brands.
