The guard, who suffered in a conflict with singer Philip Kirkorov in 2023, waived part of the claims. His lawyer Sergey Vasiliev told Izvestia about this on January 19.

"My client has waived part of the claims and today they consist only of moral damage, [compensation for which he expects to recover] from Mr. Kirkorov," the human rights defender clarified.

In December last year, it was reported that the claims were filed in a civil case, but the lawyer allowed the resumption of criminal proceedings. The injured man demanded that Kirkorov compensate for lost earnings in the amount of about 77 thousand rubles, as well as compensate for moral damage estimated at 2 million 300 thousand rubles. He also insisted on an apology from the artist.

The incident occurred in September 2023 at a performance by singer Ani Lorak at the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow. Kirkorov pushed the guard, who asked him to wait before taking his friends backstage. As a result of the incident, the man suffered a partial rupture of the ankle ligament and was forced to take long-term sick leave.

On December 18, 2025, the Tagansky Court of Moscow began considering a civil lawsuit against Kirkorov for the recovery of 12 million rubles. The lawsuit was filed by Socium Trade, which received the right to claim a loan issued by the artist from a Moscow Credit Bank in 2020.
