A taiga ranger has restored the route of the missing Usoltsev family
Alexey Kulesh, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, an experienced tourist and a direct participant in the search for the missing Usoltsev family, restored their route.
Initially, two possible routes that the Usoltsevs could choose were discussed — rocky areas, informally named Pinocchio and Malvinka.
In conversation with aif.ru On Friday, January 16, he noted that the Malvinka version was practically untenable. The MP explained that the route to Malvinka practically eliminates the possibility of getting lost: the trail is simple, straight, marked and ends at a cliff without access to the plateau, from where tourists usually return the same way. This explains why the search in this area was limited — the route does not pose a serious danger and is not suitable for the version with the disappearance of the whole family.
The situation is different in the Pinocchio area. According to Kulesh, that's where the family was heading, according to the evidence. This route is much more difficult: with altitude differences, access to an open rocky plateau, where it is possible to get lost or get injured. The combination of difficult terrain, the risk of going off the trail and the danger of falling makes this version the main one.
He also explained why the active search has now been suspended: the area is covered with a meter or more of snow, which makes any work impossible and dangerous. It will be possible to resume the search only in the spring, after the snow melts.
Kulesh said on January 11 that the Usoltsev family could get lost in the area of the Kuturchinsky Belogorie because there is a difficult terrain without landmarks. According to him, in addition, it is quite difficult to move through the taiga because of slippery rocks. He admits the death of the Usoltsevs due to hypothermia, reports 360.ru .
On January 10, Serafima Chodu, a representative of the LizaAlert regional search team, said that the search for the Usoltsev family missing in the Krasnoyarsk Territory would continue using a neural network along with the traditional work of search engines to view photos and videos from UAVs. According to her, the neural network helps to recognize a lost person in various natural conditions, RT reports.
On January 4, Yana Syrymbetova, deputy head of the first directorate for the investigation of particularly important cases of the General Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia, said that the Usoltsev family, who disappeared more than three months ago in the taiga in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, intended to get to Malvinka Mountain on the day of the disappearance. She added that there is a so-called "wishing stone" on the way to the rock. This version is confirmed by tourists who were in the Kuturchinsky Belogorye during the same period, writes NSN.
The whereabouts of Sergei, Irina and Arina Usoltseva are still unknown. The investigation considers the version of the accident as a priority, while the criminal scenarios and the assumption of the escape of the family have not been confirmed.
