Footage from a maternity hospital in Novokuznetsk has been published

On January 13, the Investigative Committee of Russia published footage from a maternity hospital in Novokuznetsk, where nine babies died.

It is noted that investigators and criminologists are working at the site.

During the New Year holidays, nine babies died in maternity hospital No. 1 in Novokuznetsk. A criminal case was opened into the incident on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code ("Causing death by negligence"), Part 3 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code ("Negligence").

Also, the governor of Kuzbass, Ilya Seredyuk, temporarily dismissed the head physician of the hospital in whose maternity hospital the babies died. The Izvestia source noted that all infants were diagnosed with either intrauterine or neonatal infection. It was these infections that caused the critical complications.
