Namibia may start supplying beer and beef to Russia. This was announced on January 1 by the country's Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Monica Ndiliawike Nashandi.

"Today I was thinking about why we are not thinking about exporting beer from Namibia. It's the best beer in the world. I am sure that people in Russia will love this beer. Therefore, we will look for opportunities to export our beer to the Russian Federation," RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

The diplomat also said that Namibia produces a special product called "biltong" — meat dried at high temperatures. The Ambassador expressed confidence that Russians will love the exotic product.

In December, it became known that China had started exporting cheese to Russia for the first time. The delivery contained 8 tons of product with a total value of $93 thousand, the grade was not specified. It is reported that in China, in addition to local varieties of buffalo milk or female yak, the production of European cheeses has also been established.
