Sobyanin spoke about projects to improve traffic in the TiNAO
Last year, 103 traffic improvement projects were completed in the Troitsk and Novomoskovsk districts of the capital, which was the highest figure for Moscow. This was stated by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
Among the key changes, he named the creation of new pedestrian crossings in Krasnopakhorsky (at the Shishkino DSPK), Shcherbinka (Baskakovskaya St.) and Kommunarka (from Kornilovskaya metro station to Food City) and the formation of security islands in Voronovo (on the 64th km of Varshavskoye Highway) and Voronovsky Rubezh Street. In addition, speed limits were set from 90 to 60 km/h in a number of dangerous areas, including the Voronovsky Line, as well as new lanes and turns. For example, at the intersection of the Solntsevo-Butovo highway with Filimonkovsky highway, they made a left turn from two lanes, which increased the capacity by one and a half times, Sobyanin wrote in his channel in the MAX.
Also, dedicated lanes for transport have been created in Shcherbinka and Kommunarka. In general, more than 130 parking spaces have been created on the roads in TiNAO, the mayor added.
Earlier in December, Sobyanin announced the approval of the draft layout of the Minsk Highway — Troitsk — Andreevskoye — Varshavskoye highway section. The new section will run from Kharlampiev Street in the village of Marino, where a connection to the Salarievo — Moskovsky—Marino highway is planned, to the Kaluga Highway.
The length of the route will be about 6 km. The project provides for traffic in three lanes in each direction along the main course. As part of the implementation, it is planned to build two overpasses and a bridge over the Desna River, as well as the construction of staircases to the embankment. The project also includes the reconstruction of a section of Novovatutinsky Prospekt with the organization of exits and arrivals from the projected highway, as well as entrances to 1st and 3rd Novovatutinsky Streets.
All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
