Lavrov intends to discuss the situation around Palestine with Araqchi

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov plans to discuss the current situation in Palestine on December 17 as part of the negotiation process with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqchi.

"I am sure that today we will pay special attention to discussing various regional and international situations. <...> first of all, in the Palestinian territories," he said.

At the same time, the meeting is scheduled to discuss issues related to the Iranian nuclear program, as well as the situation in the Middle East. According to Lavrov, the discussion of these topics is necessary to strengthen and improve the quality of bilateral coordination.

Araqchi, in turn, expressed gratitude for the invitation to the talks in Moscow. The Iranian minister noted that the relations between the two countries are comprehensive.

"I can call the Iranian-Russian relations comprehensive and full-fledged. And to be honest, our bilateral relations cover all political, economic, cultural and public spheres of activity," he replied.
