The National Center "Russia" has opened in Khanty-Mansiysk. This is the third regional branch, but the first in the Far North, so the exhibition is mainly dedicated to it. The central exhibition was "To see Ugra – to fall in love with Russia!", which combined unique traditions, feats of pioneers and modern achievements of the region. Not only residents of the region, but also foreign guests were impressed.

"It's very pleasant, everything is very beautiful, you have very hospitable people," German Ferras, a journalist at the Prensa Latina Latin American agency, admitted in an interview with Izvestia.

"The whole territory is in one place, history and culture. It's very convenient for a foreigner," added Lina, a tourist from Vietnam.

The total area of the center covers more than 6 thousand square meters, and lectures, exhibitions, workshops and meetings are planned to be held there on a regular basis. Branches will also appear in Ryazan and Sevastopol soon.

On December 16, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the residents of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug — Yugra (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug) on the opening of the branch of the National Center "Russia". The Head of State noted the merits of many generations of Ugra residents who developed deposits, built cities and infrastructure. In addition, Putin noted that the region is now actively involved in ensuring the country's energy security.
