Russians were told which medications and vitamins should be taken in advance to make it easier to postpone New Year's Eve. She reported this on December 12 in an interview with Gazeta.Ru" Director General of the Autonomous Research Institute of Functional Nutrition Yulia Malevannaya.

The expert recommended starting taking hepatoprotectors based on essential phospholipids, which help the liver cope with alcohol and food stress, 1-2 weeks before the New Year. She noted that phospholipids act as building blocks for the repair of liver cells, which experience maximum stress during the holidays.

Malevannaya also advised drinking B vitamins in advance, since alcohol actively flushes them out of the body, and deficiency leads to anxiety and trembling in the morning. She also stressed the importance of enzymes such as lipase, amylase and protease, which should be taken a few days before the feast to warm up the pancreas before exercise.

"If New Year's Eve is the only time in the year when you allow yourself to do this, then your body, prepared by the above methods, will most likely forgive you this weakness," said Malevannaya.

In conclusion, she emphasized that excessive, fanatical healthy lifestyle can cause more harm to the psyche than moderate pleasures. It is important to listen to your body, maintain balance and approach the holiday without an imposed sense of guilt.

Earlier, on December 11, it was reported that nutritionist Sofia Kovanova called drinking alcohol the most harmful habit at the New Year's table. She recalled the need for pauses between meals and recommended alternating champagne with water and lemon, as well as combining alcohol with fruit or consuming it separately.
