A road train with Russia's main Christmas tree is accompanied by traffic police officers. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk on Wednesday, December 10.

"The country's main Christmas tree is being taken to the Kremlin. The festive road train is accompanied by my colleagues from the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Moscow Region and Moscow," the Moscow City News agency quoted a representative of the department as saying.

According to Volk, a 26-meter-high hundred-year-old spruce tree was prepared for transportation for two days.
