Voyah held the Chinese premiere of the Passion sedan
Voyah brand held the Chinese premiere of the Passion sedan with the L prefix. This was reported by the company's press service on December 10.
The novelty is 37 mm longer, 15 mm wider and 17 mm higher than the usual Passion, presented on the Russian market. At the same time, the exterior of the car is completely new — the "double-decker" headlights and massive grille, as well as the characteristic design of the wheels, echo the style of the flagship Taishan SUV, shown earlier in Russia at the same time as the Chinese premiere.
The dimensions of the Passion L sedan are 5125×1985×1522 mm. The interior has also been rethought, instead of a "wall" of three displays and a fourth touchscreen, two separate screens were left below — an instrument panel and a multimedia one.
The hybrid power plant of the new sedan consists of two electric motors with a capacity of 204 hp and 313 hp, as well as a 150-horsepower gasoline turbo engine with a volume of 1.5 liters. It is reported that the sedan is capable of driving 328 km on the WLTP cycle on pure electric power.
To improve maneuverability, the rear axle is made controllable. The semi-autonomous driving system was developed jointly with Huawei.
Voyah's Russian press service explained that the new Passion L will soon be available for purchase only in China. In Russia, the company will continue to sell the current version of the model, the Passion EVR hybrid sedan. The model is assembled at the facilities of the first plant in the Lipetsk region.
On October 1, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation published a primary list of cars that meet the requirements of the law on taxi localization, which will be operational from March 2026. More than 20 models of six Russian brands, including Evolute and Voyah, produced at a factory in the Lipetsk region, meet the criteria of the law.
