The Russian Embassy pointed to the "overwhelming cynicism" of the new package of British sanctions.

The latest package of sanctions from Britain is very cynical. This was announced on December 10 at the Russian Embassy in the kingdom.

The statement states that the new package of anti-Russian sanctions includes the Fund for the Support and Protection of the Rights of Compatriots Living Abroad, as well as a number of individuals and structures from the field of media and political research.

"Putting the Foundation on the blacklist in practice deprives the most vulnerable representatives of the Russian diaspora, who are often already under pressure from local authorities, of the opportunity to defend their legitimate rights and interests," TASS reports.

Europe is not changing its policy, despite the absence of any results of restrictions against the Russian Federation.

The day before, the British authorities introduced a new package of anti-Russian sanctions, imposing restrictions on five organizations and two individuals. Restrictive measures against individuals include a ban on entry to the United Kingdom, as well as the freezing of financial assets if they are found.
