The editor of the operational department of the Moscow 24 TV channel was fired for a published video that went viral. In it, the employee expressed the hope that "at least something would happen to the plane." On December 6, the management of the TV channel reacted to this.

"We see your indignation and share it. The words that the former operations department employee posted on her Telegram channel are inhumane. Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable — [the employee] no longer works with us," commented on the dismissal in his Telegram channel "Moscow 24".

In the publication, the TV channel apologized to the audience for the statements of a former employee.

Artem Korenyako, a representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency, said on December 3 that the Boeing 777 landed at Domodedovo Airport due to engine problems. There were 415 passengers and 13 crew members on board. There were no casualties as a result of the incident. On December 4, the prosecutor's office organized an investigation into the incident with the Boeing 777. An aviation source told Izvestia that the cause of the emergency on board the aircraft was leaking oil from a damaged backup generator under the hood of the left engine.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
