- Chaif will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the band with a large-scale concert in Moscow on December 7.
Moscow will be overwhelmed by a musical "Wave of Simplicity" on Sunday, December 7. This is the name of the Chaif group concert, which they prepared for the 40th anniversary. Krasnoyarsk, Svetlogorsk, St. Petersburg — the paper boat Chaifa has already docked in more than 30 cities on its anniversary cruise. And now it is preparing to dock in the capital again. The musicians decided to sing an encore.
The Chaifs and their children, who are also musicians, are once again running through the program and new items from the latest album, "That's It." The name speaks for itself. Many people know that the tea party with strong tea leaves, which was called "tea tea" among its own, and their name was born. Not much that was brewed in the Bodrost coffee maker. And practically no one else knows the exact proportions that turn tea into "Tea." The imported coffee maker replenishes the Children of the Mountains studio-museum. Vintage radios, Soviet guitars.
"At first, I had a desire to have guitars that we played on. It's like a kind of nostalgia," said Vladimir Shakhrin, musician and leader of the Chaif group.
The former cartoon workshop of Sverdlovsk television is in use. At the same time, animation is an indispensable attribute of the Chaifa concert video series. High-quality sound, so that you can hear every whisper and rustle, the light. But they persist in not calling it a show. The decorations are made of paper.
"The Chaif group itself, it looks like this paper boat. It was not created with the aim of conquering the country. Here, playing a guy with a guitar, well, it's fun. We like that. As our song says, "don't go crazy and don't get swollen," says Shahrin.
Moscow will hear both "Oh-yo", and "Time does not wait", and "Argentina-Jamaica". Chaif has never said that they have outgrown any of their hits and are always playing them. In Yekaterinburg, the "Orange mood" is felt everywhere. In bright scarves flashing here and there, in iconic places for the group. This is the former MZHK House of Culture.
"It was here that the band's first concert took place in 1985. The stage image of that "Chaifa": T-shirts, boots of installers, chains, beads, shoulder belts. It will be later that the signature orange color will appear, and Chaif will become one of the most stylish Russian rock bands by right," said correspondent Maxim Oblender.
On December 7, Chaif will perform an encore on the stage of the Moscow LIVE Arena. To give an "Orange mood", play "Rock'n'roll of the night" and show a way "not to go crazy and not get swollen."
On September 28, Chaif celebrated its 40th anniversary with a concert in its native Yekaterinburg, where the band's history began. At the festive concert, Shahrin sang all his favorite hits. He said that he never guessed which of the songs on the album would be a hit, but he was always ready to experiment. The musician also noted that the band played its first concert with two guitars and a xylophone. The band quickly developed their own style, and their songs were repeatedly played in the movies.
