In the period from January to October 2025, the weighted average cost per square meter in transactions with apartments in new buildings across Russia amounted to 203.6 thousand rubles. Analysts of the Movement told Izvestia about this on November 26.<url>", having studied the data of the Unified Housing Construction Information System (UISWS).

This is 13% higher than in the same period last year, when the weighted average cost per square meter was 180.8 thousand rubles.

Analysts note that the growth of real estate prices in Russia has slowed down in 2025. In 2024, the square meter rose in price by 21%, and in 2022 it increased by a record 32%.

In general, over the past five years, the weighted average cost per square meter in Russian new buildings has almost doubled: from 112.1 thousand rubles to 203.6 thousand rubles (+82%).

Earlier in the day, it was reported that two-bedroom apartments in high-budget new buildings in Moscow have become leaders in price growth over the past year (an increase of 28%). At the same time, the cost of one-room apartments has increased most noticeably in the mass segment of new buildings in the capital. Over the year, their average purchase budget increased by 25%, from 13 million to 16.3 million rubles. The studios showed almost comparable dynamics and increased the price by 24% — from 9.1 million to 11.2 million.
