UAZ has introduced a new off-road package for the Patriot

Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant has begun equipping Patriot SUVs with an improved optional Off-road package designed for off-road driving. The first batch of cars has already rolled off the assembly line, the company's press service told Izvestia on November 6. The cost of the "Offline" package will be 80 thousand rubles.

UAZ said that when selecting equipment parts, they relied on user preferences and expert opinions. The Patriot was equipped with a RedBTR Trophy 10000 electric winch, which is characterized by compact dimensions, reinforced metal body, increased waterproofing properties and performance.

The weight of the device is 35 kg, the electric motor develops a power of 4.5 kW, and the tractive effort reaches 10,000 lbs (4,535 kg). The synthetic cable has a cross section of 9.5 mm and a length of 28 m. The SUV is also equipped with winch protection and steering rods.

Earlier, on October 30, it was reported that promising UAZ Patriot and Pickup models with a new six-speed transmission and a new two-liter diesel engine went for comprehensive tests in Ulyanovsk. They have already covered tens of thousands of kilometers, and tests confirm the high performance of the models.

On October 7, it became known that the capacity of the new press production at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant will be 20 thousand body kits per year. The production of the press line began at the plant in January of this year, it is one of the largest projects of the enterprise in recent decades.
