JAC will start selling the RF8 minivan in Russia
JAC plans to introduce the RF8 minivan to the Russian market at the end of November this year. This is stated in the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on October 31.
In Russia, the JAC RF8 will be available with a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine combined with a classic 8-speed automatic transmission. The salon is designed for seven people. The body dimensions are 5215×1895× 1830 mm, the wheelbase is 3100 mm.
The minivan is promised a wide range of comfort and safety options, including adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring system. It is expected that the car will be presented in a wide range of colors.
It is noteworthy that the Sollers SP7 minivan, which Sollers launched in Yelabuga in early July, repeats the JAC RF8 in appearance and equipment. Sales of Russian-made minivans have not yet begun, however, as the Sollers press service told Izvestia, they are scheduled to begin in the near future.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that a cargo and passenger van of the Russian brand Sollers should appear at dealers by the end of 2025. This is a modification of the all-metal SF1 model, which has been produced on the assembly line in Yelabuga since spring.
All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
