More than 7 million contracts have been signed in the Russian Federation in the long-term savings program

More than 7 million contracts worth 512 billion rubles were signed in the long-term savings program. This was announced on October 9 by Deputy Finance Minister Ivan Chebeskov at the Finopolis 2025 forum.

"Currently, 7.4 million contracts in the long-term savings program have been opened for the amount of about 512 billion rubles. In my opinion, this is a good result," TASS quoted Chebeskov as saying.

He noted that this result demonstrates the interest in the program.

Earlier that day, it became known that pensioners want to be granted the right to a tax deduction from interest on bank deposits. The draft law proposes to provide such categories of taxpayers with the opportunity to take advantage of social, property tax deductions and long-term savings deductions when determining the amount of tax on bank interest.
