Tikhon Dziadko, the editor-in-chief of the Dozhd TV channel (recognized as a foreign agent and an undesirable organization in the Russian Federation), as well as journalists Ekaterina Kotrikadze and Valeria Ratnikova (all three recognized as foreign agents in the Russian Federation) were added to the Rosfinmonitoring register of terrorists and extremists.
"Tikhon Viktorovich Dziadko, born on 23.06.1987, Moscow; <...> Valeria Evgenievna Ratnikova, born on 04/27/1999, Moscow; <...> Ekaterina Besikievna Kotrikadze, born on 03/23/1984, Tbilisi, Georgian SSR," the registry says.
On July 18, it was reported that a criminal case had been opened against Dziadko, Kotrikadze and Ratnikova. They are suspected of committing crimes under clause "d" of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Later, on September 5, it became known that Ekaterina Kotrikadze and Valeria Ratnikova were put on the wanted list.
On October 2, the court arrested Kotrikadze in absentia. She is charged with Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public dissemination of deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation"). Later, on October 6, Dziadko was also arrested. He was charged under Part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Evading duties provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation on foreign agents").
