US President Donald Trump returned to the TikTok social network on Tuesday, October 7, and said he had saved it for young people.

"I saved TikTok, so you owe me a lot," he said in a video posted on his page on the social network.

The American leader added that at the moment, US citizens can see him in the Oval Office, and one day one of them "will be sitting right here at this table and will also do his job perfectly."

On September 25, Trump signed a deal with China to sell the American segment of TikTok. According to him, the signing of the agreement was "especially wanted by young people." He clarified that the younger generation did not want TikTok to be closed, while adding that he himself was a little used to the social network.

On September 19, Trump announced that he had reached an agreement with China on a "certain" company that the American youth really wanted to keep. The next day, it became known that the implementation of this transaction had begun. At the same time, White House press Secretary Caroline Leavitt noted that the American side was 100% confident that the deal was ready and expected it to be concluded in the coming days.

Trump also called the course of business with Beijing "unprecedentedly good" on September 25. He added that the United States has never been treated "properly" and "truly correctly," but now, in his opinion, this situation is changing.
