Israel launched eight strikes on Damascus

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) aircraft carried out eight strikes on the outskirts of Syrian Damascus. This was announced on October 2 by Al Mayadeen TV channel in its Telegram channel.

"Israeli raids are aimed at the outskirts of the Al-Kiswa district in the suburbs of Damascus. At the moment, eight raids have been carried out," the publication says.

There is currently no information about casualties or damage.

A meeting of the UN Security Council on the situation in Damascus is scheduled for the evening of July 17.

Earlier, on September 9, the IDF carried out an airstrike on the province of Homs in central Syria. There was no information about the victims.
