Exeed Exlantix cars entered the "Russian Book of Records"
The Exeed Exlantix ET and ES models have entered the Russian Book of Records, setting a new national record for driving range on hybrid vehicles without recharging or refueling. This is stated in the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on September 30.
The Exeed Exlantix ET crossover covered 1,361.6 km, while the ES sedan covered 1,486.4 km. The route passed through the Kaliningrad region as close as possible to real operating conditions, representatives of the Chinese brand said. The average speed was 70 km/h at a temperature of 8-17°C and in conditions of various types of road surface.
The regenerative braking system saved 42% of energy, and the average energy consumption was 14.2 kWh per 100 km of travel. The turbo engine operated in economy mode (35-40% of the time), while the electric motors carried the main load (60-70% of the power).
The measurements were carried out under the supervision of an independent expert commission with continuous video recording, a sealed fuel tank and energy consumption measurements every 100 km. The movement continued until the battery charge dropped to 1%. The route ended at the Curonian Spit.
Both models are equipped with a sequential hybrid power plant. The power plant consists of a 1.5-liter turbo engine and two electric motors that develop a total of 469 hp. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes 4.8 seconds for a crossover and 4.6 seconds for a sedan. Exeed Exlantix ET and ES entered the Russian market this summer.
Earlier, on September 25, Sergey Tselikov, the head of Autostat, said that 908 Exlantix ET crossovers and 106 Exlantix ES sedans had been sold in Russia.
On August 28, Exeed announced the launch of the third Exlantix model on the Russian market. The flagship Exlantix E02 SUV will make its debut in Russia in 2026.,
