A fighter jet was scrambled over the island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea due to reports of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was reported on September 28 by TV2 TV channel with reference to the local police.

A distracting alert was issued when the fighter jets, according to police, "first flew over the island in one direction and then in the other," the publication says.

It is clarified that the Danish Armed Forces did not comment on this information. In addition, the chief of staff of the island's police noted that he had received information about the appearance of UAVs.

Earlier, on September 26, several drones were spotted in the sky over Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany. The Interior Minister of the region, Sabine Zutterlin-Vak, did not provide any information about how many drones were spotted and where.
