A traveler walking from Kazan to Jerusalem told about the preparations for the trip
Nikita Kuznetsov, a traveler traveling on foot from Tatarstan to Jerusalem, contacted Izvestia on September 26. He, who is currently in Iraq, told how he decided to embark on the adventure he had begun.
According to the traveler, he had practically no doubts about accepting this spontaneously self-imposed challenge. However, he told only his closest friends about his plans, his mother and a few friends, in order not to listen to warnings that would come from outsiders.
"I think: well, I'll try, and if it doesn't work out, at least I won't regret it. <...> I wasn't going to tell anyone at all, actually, because you know, when you make some important decision, there will be a thousand opinions and these opinions will not coincide with yours," — said Kuznetsov.
However, as the traveler added, on his route, which was 3,500 km long, he still encountered not only a feeling of fatigue, but also advice. The Tatarstan resident stressed that if he had listened to everything that was being said to him, he would never have reached the final goal.
Although, as Kuznetsov noted, he is currently receiving support from users of social networks and the media, which "fuels" him to move on from the considerations that he is doing a good deed, inspiring others.
Polish citizen and mountaineer Andrzej Bargel reported on September 25 that he had made a ski descent from Mount Everest without using additional oxygen. According to him, he had never felt anything like this in his entire life.
