In Spassk-Dalny, Primorsky Krai, the prosecutor's office began an investigation into the possible harassment of an eight-year-old schoolgirl by high school students.

According to IA PrimaMedia, with reference to the press service of the supervisory authority, the incident became known from social networks. Illegal actions could be committed against the girl through the use of psychological and physical violence.

The Prosecutor's office is establishing the circumstances of the incident. Based on the results of the audit, the actions of the school itself will be evaluated. Prosecutors will pay special attention to the organization of work on the prevention of bullying and how to ensure the safety of children at school.

Earlier it was reported that in Russia they want to start fining for bullying at school and on the Internet. LDPR deputies have developed a bill according to which penalties of up to 500 thousand rubles can be imposed for bullying and cyberbullying (the text of the document is available to Izvestia). However, not all parties support this initiative — in particular, the SRDP is against it. At the same time, an inter—factional group of deputies is preparing an initiative to prevent harassment of minors, which should be adopted by the end of the year.
