Sales of new luxury cars increased in Russia

In August 2025, 55 new Luxury cars were sold in Russia, which is 10% more than in the same month last year. This was reported on September 16 by the analytical agency Autostat.

Rolls-Royce remains the most popular luxury brand, with 19 cars sold in Russia at the end of the summer. In second place is another British brand, Bentley, with 18 units. Also in August, 11 new Lamborghini cars, four Ferraris, two Aston Martin and one Maserati were sold.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan crossover (11 units) became the leader in the model rating, it holds this title for the eighth month in a row. According to open data from classifieds, such a 2025 car is offered for 59-97 million rubles. The second in the sales ranking was the Lamborghini Urus crossover (10 units), followed by the Bentley Continental GT (9 units).

In just eight months of this year, 448 new luxury cars were sold in Russia, which is 23% more than in January — August 2024.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the planned changes in the calculation of scrap collection with the advent of a new criterion related to engine power may affect about 68% of cars imported into Russia. According to Izvestia's calculations, the maximum amount of the estimated new recycling rates for passenger cars older than three years with an engine capacity of more than 3.5 liters and a capacity of more than 500 hp will exceed 10 million rubles.
