The man suspected of murdering American political activist Charlie Kirk, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, has been placed in solitary confinement, where he is being closely monitored. This was reported on September 14 by the TMZ portal with reference to the press secretary of the state of Utah, where the assassination attempt took place, Sergeant Raymond Ormond.

"Tyler is <...> under special supervision while they (the specialists. They are working to determine whether he poses a danger to himself or others, and mental health professionals are assessing whether he is suicidal," the publication says.

It is specified that inspectors regularly enter the suspect's cell with an interval of 15 minutes in order to control him, in addition, enhanced video surveillance is conducted in the building where he is located to ensure the safety of both prisoners and employees themselves.

Robinson, who is suspected of murdering Kirk, has pleaded not guilty as of September 14. Also, the young man, who, according to his friends, was a diligent student and a lover of video games, does not cooperate with the investigation. According to CNN, Robinson was studying electrical engineering at the Dixie Technical College.

The man's arrest became known on September 12, two days after the incident. This was stated by the Governor of Utah Spencer Cox.
