The Bakhyt-Kompot musical group is preparing to celebrate its 35th anniversary loudly and humorously. The concert will take place on Friday, September 12, in Moscow. There is a double reason for the band to meet with the audience — they will also be able to congratulate the band's leader Vadim Stepantsov, who turned 65, the Izvestia correspondent reported.

The band members promised that at the performance they would be able to traditionally surprise with a "combination of the incongruous": the beautiful and the ugly, the tragic and the comic. After all, all the creativity of "Bakhyt-Compote" is a great experiment.

"We have already used balalaika and jelly in the recording. At least two tracks — "Captain's daughter" must be known by heart, and "Gray-dear". It's such a playful ballad using folk tunes and George Frideric Handel. We will continue these experiments," Vadim Stepantsov told the Izvestia correspondent.

Fans will hear not only familiar hits, but also new compositions such as "Gray-dear", "Oh frost, frost", "Alyoshenka is alive". Over the years, the band has developed its own well-recognized and unique style, and its performances always feature an incendiary dance drive. On Saturday, September 13, the musicians will perform in St. Petersburg, where they also promise to surprise the audience.

In April, the band presented a video for the song "On a Russian Charred Tank." According to Stepantsov, the lines that formed the basis of the composition were written by his friend. He stressed that the military theme is close to him, as the team has repeatedly performed for Russian soldiers at the front.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
