Zakharova met with young scientists on the sidelines of the WEF-2025

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, took part in a lecture by the Znanie Society on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum 2025 (WEF 2025). The diplomat announced this on September 4 in the Telegram channel.

"We met with students, young specialists, and scientists from different cities of Primorsky Krai and talked, first of all, about the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, the significance of Victory, and the relationship of today's events with that era," she said.

In addition, the topics of overcoming the 1990s in Russia, the gap in historical memory, as well as family and traditions were discussed during the meeting.

On the evening of September 3, Russian President Vladimir Putin flew to Vladivostok to participate in the WEF-2025. The Head of State will hold various events at the forum that will be related to the development of the Far Eastern Federal District.

On the same day, the start of the WEF-2025 was announced. It will be attended by delegations from 70 countries. According to experts, the amount of contracts concluded on it can reach almost 6 trillion rubles.
