The tenth children's room in the hospital opened in the LPR

On Wednesday, September 3, the tenth children's room in the region opened in the Kirov Hospital of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR).

The opening of this and other children's rooms took place with the participation of the Popular Front and the Charitable Foundation for the Children of Donbass, which was created by the ROSSIYA Joint-Stock Bank, said Dmitry Zimenkin, a correspondent for Izvestia.

"The room is located in the department where children are constantly lying and being treated. And they said that the dynamics of recovery has greatly increased. This means that positive emotions have a positive effect on health," said Anna Yeremenko, head of the Executive committee of the Popular Front in the LPR.

It is noted that three years ago the medical facility was under constant shelling. Nevertheless, even in such conditions, pediatricians continued to work.

"It was hard, but we did it. It happened that there was no heating, the head was filming on her own," said the acting head of the institution.

The new children's room allows patients to adapt to the environment and cope with the fear of injections. The walls of the children's room were painted by Lugansk artists from the Matusovsky Academy, veterans.

According to the Foundation for Assistance to Children of Donbass and the Popular Front, a total of 15 such rooms will be created on the territory of the republic. The new five are expected to open before the New Year.

The opening of two such rooms in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) was previously reported on May 12. Children can watch cartoons, play, read and draw in such rooms for adaptation and comfort during the treatment period. It is specified that the play areas in the institution were opened on the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War as a symbol of peaceful life.

On July 27, in Moscow, in the Hall of Memory and Sorrow of the Victory Museum, a requiem action was held for the Day of Remembrance of Children who became victims of the conflict in Donbass. On this day, an exhibition dedicated to the soldiers who died in the war zone was opened in the museum. There, the participants of the event pronounced the names of the children who died at the hands of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), and also laid flowers and toys.
