After her death, the painting was inherited by her daughter Hortense. Guercino's work appeared in Russia thanks to Alexander I. Since the mid-1980s, it has been in the collection of the artist Ilya Glazunov. The funds of the State Museum of Fine Arts were received from his daughter Vera.
