In Lviv, the day after the murder of Parubiy, there was another shooting
A man opened fire on his opponents during the conflict that took place at the Roshen confectionery store in Lviv, Ukraine. This was reported on August 31 by the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".
"In Lviv, near the Roshen store <...>, a shooting occurred. <...> The shooter has already been detained <...> there were shots <...> [carried out] in the course of a personal conflict," the publication says in the Telegram channel.
It is noted that the 53-year-old shooter was armed with an air pistol, which was seized by law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene. Ambulances were also sent to the store.
A day earlier, former Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy was killed in Lviv. Ukrainian Telegram channels reported that the killer of the politician could be a courier for food delivery Glovo. The published footage from the scene shows Parubiy being overtaken by a courier, after which he fires several shots.
Political analyst Yuri Svetov told Izvestia on August 30 that Parubiy was one of the most radical organizers of Euromaidan and a "translator of anti-Russian slogans."
