Artists performed for the military personnel of the Zapad group of forces in the free zone

The artists of the Russian Soul art group performed for the military personnel of the 2nd Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Zapad group of forces performing combat missions in the area of the special military operation. This was announced on August 31 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"We performed at the mall, sang pop songs. Among the guests was a fighter of the SVO on vacation. He said: "I wish we had such artists, you sing with all your heart!" After all, our guys deserve the very best, they protect us," said Elena, the soloist of the art group.

The concert was organized for military personnel of the units withdrawn from the line of combat contact for recreation as part of the rotation.

The artists performed in a dugout on a specially equipped stage, presenting a number of musical and vocal works to the audience. The program featured patriotic compositions, classical folk motifs and popular hits by Russian authors.

"We try to give the guys songs so that they can relax, feel at home, relax, dance. <...> And this is our most important goal," said Elena.

The involvement of soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces also created a special atmosphere. Some soldiers sang along, danced and even joined the musicians, playing instruments.

At the end of the speech, the servicemen thanked the staff for their constant support. As the fighters themselves say, such performances help to relieve stress and reboot.

By organizing such concerts for fighters in the special operation zone, touring not only the rear areas, but also along the line of contact (soloists perform in dugouts on the front line), the bands bring culture to each unit. The musicians also support the morale of the Russian military.
