A sharp jump in energy release was recorded in the active region of the Sun. This was announced on August 30 at the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy at the Institute of Space Research (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

"A noticeable jump in energy release was registered in active area 4197 about two hours ago," the Telegram channel said.

It is specified that at the moment there is a series of flashes of level M in this area. The laboratory added that the explosive processes are localized in one area. In addition, according to scientists, the flares did not affect the entire complex of sunspots.

In addition, the IKI RAS noted that there are no signs of the entire active complex getting out of balance.
