Nesmian's publicist was added to the register of foreign agents

Publicist Anatoly Nesmian (included in the Rosfinmonitoring list of extremists and terrorists), also known by the pseudonym El Murid, was added to the register of foreign agents. This follows from the updated list of the Ministry of Justice, published on the agency's website on August 29.

According to the agency, Nesmian disseminated false information about the decisions of the Russian authorities, formed a negative image of the Russian army and opposed a special operation in Ukraine. In addition, he participated in the distribution of materials from foreign agents and organizations deemed undesirable in Russia.

Yuri Bobrov, Iria Vesikko, journalist Evgeny Krotenko, lawyer Boris Kuznetsov and activist Olesya Krivtsova also joined the list of foreign agents. All of them are charged by the Ministry of Justice with spreading fakes about the decisions and policies of the Russian authorities, as well as participating in the creation and/or distribution of content by foreign agents.

On June 2, Rosfinmonitoring added Nesmian to the list of extremists and terrorists in the Russian Federation. He is involved in a criminal case on the justification of terrorism in connection with a post on social media about the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall.

Earlier, on August 23, the Ministry of Justice added political scientist Sergey Markov to the list of foreign agents. It is noted that he disseminated false information about the decisions of state authorities and their policies, participated in the dissemination of messages and materials from organizations whose activities are considered undesirable in the territory of the Russian Federation.
