The premiere of the film "Red Silk" in Beijing will take place on September 4.
On September 4, the premiere of the Russian-Chinese film "Red Silk" will take place in Beijing at the main cinema of China Film Group, and on September 6 the film will be released in the country. As part of the opening ceremony of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Film Week, singer Alyona Sviridova and actor Huang Xiao Ming performed the song "It Will Be like This" — a remake of this track was recorded specifically for the release of the film.
"It seems to me that culture is the easiest way to establish friendship. This is what unites people. Despite the difference in cultures, we always experience the same feelings. But I hope that <...> my song, which has long been a hit in Russia, it will become, I hope very much, a hit in China," Sviridova said in an interview with China Central Television.
"Red Silk" has already become the headliner of a number of Chinese events. The film's distributor is NMG Film Distribution, and the producers are Nota Bene Film Group and the National Media Group.
Cinity technology is going to be used at the screening, which allows for full immersion in the film. The film's director Andrei Volgin, cinematographer Maxim Mikhanyuk, screenwriter Maria Nefedova, and general producer Vadim Byrkin are expected to attend the premiere in China. Actress Svetlana Chuikina and actor Milos Bikovic are also among the invited guests. From the Chinese side, actors Zheng Hanyi, Huang Haonan and Yang Zihua will attend the premiere in Beijing.
The event is organized by the partner of the National Media Group, China Film Group.
Earlier, on May 8, the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation called "Red Silk" the first large-scale blockbuster of Russian-Chinese production. According to her, the film opened a new chapter in cooperation between the two countries, becoming a real breakthrough in cultural exchange.
