In the Magadan region, three tourists on rubber boats were evacuated from the Bakhapchi River after one of the oars was damaged. This was announced on August 25 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
"Three men were traveling on rubber boats on the Bahapche River. During the rafting, one of the oars broke. They could not continue their journey and get out of the river. One of the men asked for help from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is noted that employees of the search and rescue squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on the Mi-8 helicopter took the men to Magadan. At the same time, the tourists did not need medical assistance.
On August 23, the Rostec State Aviation Administration conducted an operation to rescue a 38-year-old tourist after a serious arm injury while crossing a mountain river at the Voynovsky Springs in Kamchatka. An Mi-8 helicopter was used to rescue the victim.
