Participants of the XVII International Military Music Festival "Spasskaya Tower" on August 21 told about their emotions from the upcoming event.

The head of the Italian delegation, Gian Luco, representing the traditional flag bearers of Italy from the municipality of Cori, noted that this is the third time the team has participated in the festival.

"It is a great honor for us. We represent a small province in Italy, and it is a great pleasure for us. We hope that everything will go well," Luko said.

Dusan Pokrajcic, the conductor of the police orchestra of the Interior Ministry of the Republika Srpska, drew attention to the fact that his band is quite young and has existed for only eight years. However, the musicians have done a lot of work to achieve a level of skill that would allow them to participate in the event on Red Square in Moscow.

"And we also want to celebrate the anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany at this festival," he said.

The event will be held from 22 to 31 August.

On May 15, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced his support for the Spasskaya Tower music festival. This year it is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the defenders of the Fatherland. It is expected that about 1.5 thousand musicians from 20 bands from different countries of the world will take part in the show. The main location of the festival will traditionally be Red Square. As in previous years, orchestra performances are also organized in parks, alleys, squares and other iconic places of the capital.
