The jury found the defendant in the case of the attempted murder of singer Russo not guilty.

The jury found Tarkhan Eldukaev, accused of the attempted murder of singer Avraham Russo, not guilty. This was reported to Izvestia on August 21 by one of the participants in the trial.

On May 29, the Moscow Garrison Court closed the trial of Eldukayev from the press due to concern that his accomplices might put pressure on the jury.

Eldukayev was detained in October 2023. According to the investigation, he acted as the executor of the plan of the ex-owner of Cherkizovsky market Telman Ismailov. The man hired three men, one of whom shot Rousseau several times, wounding him.
