Anonymous billionaire will pay $10 million to dive to the wreckage of the Titanic
An anonymous billionaire will pay $10 million to dive to the wreckage of the sunken cruise ship Titanic. This was reported on August 18 by The New York Post (NYP), citing a source.
"I heard that in a couple of weeks someone will go to the Titanic <...> I can tell you that this is a billionaire. The trip there will cost $10 million. You will surely recognize his name," the source told the newspaper.
He did not disclose the billionaire's name, because, according to the interlocutor, he himself would want to talk about it.
Earlier, on April 26, a letter from the surviving passenger of the ship "Titanic", Colonel Archibald Grace, was sold at auction. The letter card is dated April 10, 1912, the day he boarded the ship. It was clarified that this was the highest amount that was paid for a letter written on board the ship.
