In many regions of Russia, temperatures will be higher than in the last 30 years. In St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Kazan, Samara, Krasnoyarsk, Chelyabinsk and Perm, there is a possibility of new records of average seasonal and monthly temperatures, especially noticeable excess may occur in November. This was reported to Izvestia on August 14 by Yandex Weather analysts.

In Moscow, September and October will be warmer than the long-term average, but the first month of autumn will be cooler compared to last year. At the same time, November may become the warmest in the last decade.

In St. Petersburg, the September temperature will exceed the climatic norm, but will not reach last year's figures. October and November promise to be significantly warmer than in previous years, and November may set a new record for warmth over the past 30 years of observations.

After the abnormally dry autumn of 2024, a return to the usual amount of precipitation is expected this season. High humidity is forecast in Moscow, Kazan, Samara, Ufa, Rostov-on-Don, Voronezh, Volgograd and Perm.

In the metropolitan area, precipitation will be close to normal, but it will be unevenly distributed. September will be drier than usual, but still more rainy than last year. October will be less humid than in 2024, and precipitation will remain within the average range in November.

September will bring more precipitation in St. Petersburg than a year ago. October is expected to be almost twice as rainy as the previous one, and in November the amount of precipitation will exceed the norm. In general, about one and a half times more rain and snow will fall in the northern capital during the autumn than in 2024.

The first snowfalls are likely in late October and early November in Siberian and Ural cities. In the central regions, including Moscow and St. Petersburg, snow is expected in November, and in the south of the country — in late November or early December.

Motorists in Ural and Siberian cities are advised to prepare winter tires as early as October. It is better for residents of central Russia to change tires in November, and in the south of the country this procedure can be postponed until the beginning of the calendar winter.

On August 5, trichologist Yulia Nagaytseva said that the rainy summer had caused complaints from women about difficulties with hair styling. However, as she explained, it's not about the weather, but about the individual characteristics of the scalp.
