Aeroflot cancelled 12 more flights from Moscow
Aeroflot cancelled five more flights from Sheremetyevo on July 28 and seven flights on July 29. This was announced on Monday, July 28, in the airline's Telegram channel.
Among the cancelled flights from Moscow are destinations to Minsk, Samara, Ufa, Kazan, Almaty, Novosibirsk, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg and Yerevan. Passengers are asked to monitor the information on the Sheremetyevo Airport's online scoreboard.
"The airline's contact center has been significantly strengthened, passengers of cancelled flights are informed in advance. Passengers are also provided with advice on actions in the current situation," the message says.
Earlier in the day, Aeroflot cancelled 54 paired flights. The reason was the malfunction of the airline's information system. It is specified that tickets for cancelled flights are subject to refund or reissue for dates within 10 days. A criminal case has been opened into a hacker attack on the airline's information system.
In connection with the incident, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, Rosaviation and Aeroflot organized the transfer of some passengers to flights operated by Rossiya and Pobeda airlines. It is noted that the airline is currently engaged in the early restoration of regular services.
