Sobyanin praised the work of digital medical services in Moscow
Since 2011, the capital's digital medicine has brought together more than 120,000 doctors and nurses, said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. According to him, all city hospitals, polyclinics and ambulances use the services in their work.
"Digital medicine has become commonplace for millions of Moscow patients," Sobyanin said in a Telegram channel.
The Mayor of the capital recalled that digital services cover electronic registry, laboratory service, unified radiological information system, electronic medical record. In addition, the digital circuit allows for the implementation of smart algorithms and AI services.
Dozens of services based on a single digital platform help doctors make diagnoses and monitor treatment faster, while Muscovites can make appointments with a doctor, receive research results, and issue certificates and prescriptions, Sobyanin noted.
Muscovites' visits to the doctor, from a visit to a therapist to a complex operation, are recorded electronically.
"This makes the city's healthcare system transparent, convenient and efficient for both patients and doctors," stressed the mayor of the capital.
In July 2024, Sobyanin announced that in Moscow, thanks to the replacement of equipment with digital technology, it was possible to create a single digital healthcare circuit.
