Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on amendments to the procedure for wearing military uniforms. The relevant document was posted on the official Internet portal of legal information on July 11.

According to the decree, for senior officers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Rosgvardiya, trousers with edging and stripes of the established colors are now included in the short- and long-sleeve uniforms.

In addition, a camouflage combat shirt has been added to the military's field uniform. It is also provided for cadets and military personnel serving in educational organizations.

A new black dress jacket with five percent gilding on the collar and shoulder straps has been introduced for senior officers of the Navy (Navy) and coastal troops.

On April 18, Putin signed a decree on changing military uniforms for the army and special services, including sets of field uniforms for military personnel of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), the Federal Security Service (FSB), and the Main Directorate of Special Programs of the President of the Russian Federation (GUSP). Hats, suits, insulated demi-season trousers and other items were added to the sets.
