Evolve introduced the updated i-Space crossover in Russia

The updated Evolute i-Space hybrid crossover will be available in Russia in August this year, and assembly of cars with welding and painting at a factory in the Lipetsk region will begin in the third quarter. This was announced on July 7 by the Izvestia correspondent from the Innoprom 2025 exhibition in Yekaterinburg.

"Last year, according to Autostat's analytics, the i-Space was the most affordable hybrid on the Russian market. We will announce prices closer to the start of sales. The battery capacity is larger, so it will probably become more expensive, but it may become cheaper depending on the degree of localization," said Andrey Reznikov, Managing partner of Evolve.

For the first time, the Evolve i-Space will be available not only in a seven-seat cabin layout, but also in a five-seat one. The crossover received an updated exterior and interior design, as well as an improved powertrain. The power of the electric motor was increased from 177 hp to 218 hp (the torque remained unchanged at 330 Nm).

The power reserve on electric power increased by more than 35% thanks to a new battery with a capacity of 25.1 kWh and reached 165 km. The total range is 1,250 km (plus 100 km relative to the pre-styling version). Fuel consumption in the WLTC cycle is 5.6 liters per 100 km. A suspension with electronic stiffness control of the shock absorbers is installed.

The front seats of the i-Space have received electrical adjustments and an improved profile, the center console is now equipped with integrated cup holders, smartphone charging connectors and wireless charging. The direction selector is located on the steering column. The 15.6-inch media system supports Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Additionally, atmospheric contour lighting and advanced heating options are available. The functionality of driving assistants has also been expanded.

On June 27, it became known that the Voyah Passion EVR hybrid sedan will be produced at a factory in the Lipetsk region. The Voyah Passion EVR is equipped with an all-wheel drive system of two electric motors (394 hp; 590 Nm) and a 1.5 liter gasoline engine (129 hp), which charges a traction battery with a capacity of 43 kWh.
