The protests taking place in California are funded by someone. This was announced on June 11 by US President Donald Trump during a speech at a military demonstration at Fort Bragg.

"These guys are professionals, they are not amateurs. Someone is financing this. We're going to find out through Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Justice Department who this is," the American leader said.

According to him, what is happening in California now is a "full—scale attack on peace, public order and national sovereignty," which was committed to continue the foreign invasion of the United States.

In addition, he stressed that the country's authorities would not allow this to happen and would try to get punishment for what they had done.

After a raid by law enforcement officers to identify illegal migrants, during which 45 people were detained, mass protests began in California on June 8. On the same day, Trump ordered the national Guard to be sent to the state to prevent riots, as a result of which the American leader's action was condemned by the governors of 22 states, regarding it as an "abuse of power."

Later, on June 10, Izvestia correspondent Nikolai Masters reported that the protesters began throwing fireworks at police officers, as well as committing acts of robbery and breaking into establishments.
