Protesters in Los Angeles began to commit robberies
Protesters in Los Angeles began to commit acts of robbery and break into establishments. Footage of the current situation is published by Izvestia on June 10.
"The crowd is losing control, robberies have begun, people are breaking into the nearest shops," said Izvestia correspondent Nikolai Masters.
According to him, a crowd of people broke down the doors of the restaurant and broke into the establishment. The correspondent noted that the protesters were setting fire to newspapers and throwing fireworks.
Mass protests in California began after a police raid to identify illegal migrants, during which 45 people were detained. On June 8, US President Donald Trump ordered the National Guard to be sent to the state to stop the riots, which was condemned by the governors of 22 states, regarding it as an "abuse of power."
On June 10, Masters reported that protesters had started throwing fireworks at police officers. Law enforcement officers, in turn, actively use tear gas against demonstrators.
